Day 6 - Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon

We leave Zion with an amazing journey ahead of us.  One of the shortest of the trip but also one of, if not, the most spectacular to date.  At least that is what the guides all say... and so it proves.  It is a beautiful day and we head off into the park and continue via many hairpin bends to the Zion tunnel.  The road has amazing views in all directions and we see the Zion valley from altitude which is fantastic.  The rock formations are fascinating with erosion by rain, snow and frost producing incredible shapes and patters.  We take over two hours to exit the park, some 20 odd miles!

We also take some time to reach our final RV site for the night by taking two stops in Red Canyon for walks.  The second was a quick stroll around the hoodoos.  Then on to Ruby's where we pick up info on visiting Bryce Canyon.  We find that as we have "a small RV", under 25 feet that is, we can drive into the park so we have an early night and decide to get up for a dawn visit!
