Day 19 Hill City (South Dakota) to Douglas Wyoming
On my birthday we make an early start and head for Wind Cave NP where we are able to book places on a guided tour of just a tiny part of the cave system, which is really good.  We grab a very quick first breakfast.

We descend a large number of steps and then follow a long connected series caves and tunnels with interesting geology and formations.  The Ranger guide is excellent and she explains what we see, the history of its exploration and facts about its geology and formation.

We then have second breakfast before departing for Hot Springs and the Mammoth Dig Museum.  This is another brilliant visit and Charlie would have loved it!

Tonight after the evening briefing we had drinks for all who wanted to attend at our van... very late supper!
